Owl Feather Farm, San Juan Island
Sound has great power.
We all recognize this: The whisper of breeze in tree leaves, the
brush of waves on sand, the comforting crackle of fire in winter.
Forest bathing, the Asian pastime believed by many to be priceless
medicine, brings participants a symphony of scent, sight and sound.
Snow falling, the burble of streams, footsteps on soft ground.
All this is more than enjoyable, it’s spiritually beneficial.
Alchemy Crystal Bowls Speak their Magic
Humankind has created its own healing sound for thousands of
years—from Gregorian chant to Rachmaninoff’s Vespers; from the
booming rush of the organ at Notre Dame in Paris to the bells that
ring out at temples across Asia. All based on verdant vibration.
Meaningful sound is part of the everyday experience at Owl
Feather Healing. Birdsong and breeze drift through the windows of
the Pilates studio; you may hear the gentle rumble of Cereus
cantering up his meadow, owls in the woods or even whales in the
Salish Sea nearby.
Love and Beauty All Around
But as humans do, we have adopted and enhanced this magic
with alchemy crystal bowls, specially wrought quartz instruments
used to produce waves of spirit sound. There are six main
frequencies considered exceptional for healing; Nicollé’s crystal
bowls cover four of these: A#, C, D#, F. After years of instruction
and practice, Nicollé is expert at crystal sound, and in the high
timber ceilings of the studio and our great room, the crystal
symphony reverberates deep in listeners’ souls. Even those who
have never experienced it before are enchanted and entranced.
See the Magical Story within the Alchemy Crystal
Much of modern life is a cacophonous maelstrom. Creating
beneficial sound is so simple and so effective that it’s widely
overlooked. That’s why we make a point of it here. Please come
hear the magic.
